Augustinus holds a BSc in Management, Philosophy & Economics from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (Germany), as well as an MSc in Strategic Studies & International Law with Distinction from the University of Aberdeen. Since 2014/15, Augustinus is doing his PhD in Law, Politics and International Relations, focusing on the role of human rights in high strategic policy decision-making processes. His research interests include strategy, national security, human rights, and the use of force in international law. Augustinus’ research is funded by CISRUL and he has been awarded the CB Davidson Bequest Scholarship three times (in 2014, 2015, and 2016). His supervisors are Mátyás Bódig (Law) and James Wyllie (Politics and International Relations).
